entral Human Resource Development Centre (CHRDC) was established in 1992 at Savar for enhancing the professional skills and efficiency of officers and staff of the Department of Youth Development, Ministry of Youth & Sports. The Centre is located 25 kilometers away from Dhaka city alongside the Dhaka-Aricha highway.This centre was established under Upazila Resource Development and Employment Project (URDEP) which was successfully ran cojiontly by the Ministry of Youth & Sports and Asian Development Bank (ADB). Initially various training programs in the form of socio-economic strategies which are now aggregated at this centre. But at present all activities are being implemented under government revenue budget. The training programme started its operation Since December 1992. This centre organizes different types of training. Besides, seminars and workshops are being organized as regular programme.It started functioning in a beautiful campus, has a large Academic Building, two hostels with 80 trainee's accommodation & big dining space with a big play ground. It has well trained experienced trainer. Now a days Information & Communication Technology based  training also included to the schedule.  

Principal is the executive head of the Centre associated with Vice principal.
